    A graphic art show with the theme ‘New Gods’ in which our exhibiting artists will explore what that means to them. Most artists will create unique pieces within the theme for the show plus they will be selling their back catalogue of work at the show.

  • Setsubun: collective show of Japanese printmaking women living in Oaxaca, México

    Opening reception: February 2, 2017, 7pm, at Cooperativa Gráfica Oaxaca, Manuel Doblado 210, Centro, Oaxaca. Exhibited until February 22, 2017. Setsubun is a Japanese ritual held every year on February 3rd to celebrate the beginning of spring. Soy beans are thrown at Oni demons, to ward off bad ju-ju and to start spring with good luck.

    Indigo Earth: Japanese Shibori & Kasuri Textiles, showing at Galería La Mano Mágica, M. Alcalá 203, Centro Oaxaca, Nov. 16-19, 2016. Also known as Batik dyeing and Ikat weaving, the opening reception is on Nov. 16, 3-4:30pm and demonstrations held on Nov. 17-19, 1-2pm each day. I will be interpreting the demonstrations, selling textiles and exhibiting a couple of my artwork.
