Setsubun: collective show of Japanese printmaking women living in Oaxaca, México
Opening reception: February 2, 2017, 7pm, at Cooperativa Gráfica Oaxaca, Manuel Doblado 210, Centro, Oaxaca. Exhibited until February 22, 2017. Setsubun is a Japanese ritual held every year on February 3rd to celebrate the beginning of spring. Soy beans are thrown at Oni demons, to ward off bad ju-ju and to start spring with good luck.
