The City of Auburn and Auburn Arts Commission are pleased to welcome talented printmaker Yoshi Nakagawa as the summer 2026 Postmark Artist in Residence!
Postmark’s unique and historic setting will be an ideal place for the artist to draw inspiration, engage with the community, and create new artwork for the Vault installation gallery. Yoshi is “excited that this residency will provide a space for the audience and community to see humanity with a new lens, how patterns, nature, culture, and creation cultivate healing, reciprocity, and renewal of our senses.”
Yoshi will actively work on-site from July 1-August 26 at Postmark Center for the Arts, creating a special installation for the Vault Gallery. This installation will be on display January-April of 2027.
