Pacífico: the ocean that connects Japan, Mexico and the US. Eighteen years ago, I taught English for two years in a small town in Iwate Prefecture, Japan. Once again, I cross the grand Pacific to revisit my past. The sea can also be cruel and devastating, where Iwate was hard hit in the 2011 Tohoku Tsunami; I pay homage to the tremendous loss. Pacífico means peaceful, which we all hope for in the world and within the three countries that I consider to be home.

DF native but residing in Oaxaca, illustrator and acclaimed street artist Malo has left his mark in Convivio in the form of a 7m mural but also on the walls of our city and in frames in your houses. Works will feature a series of ‘New Gods’ pieces.

Printmaker from the Pacific Northwest but residing in Oaxaca since 2011. Founded, coordinated and participated in the Feria Gráfica Oaxaca in 2013, 2014 and 2016, collaborating with 90+ resident printmakers.
